License your artwork
for film & Tv
Earn passive income from the artwork already sitting on your hard drive. We supply digital 'Cleared Art' to film and TV productions, splitting the licensing fee 50/50 with the original creator.
What We Offer
We supply High-End TV (HETV) productions across the North East. Set Decorators are constantly looking for authentic artwork to dress their sets—from corporate office abstracts to posters in a teenager's bedroom.
Instead of productions relying on generic stock images, we act as a licensing agent to put regional artists' work on screen.
We are looking for existing bodies of work currently sitting on your hard drive or in your sketchbooks. We are not asking you to create bespoke pieces for us; we want to help you generate passive income from the work you have already made.

Cleared art is simply artwork that a production has explicit legal permission to film, either because it is copyright-free or fully licensed by the original creator. Without this legal paperwork (the "Chain of Title"), a production cannot feature the work on camera.
-
Productions rarely need conceptual masterpieces to be the centre of attention. They need authentic background filler to make a room look lived-in.
What sells: Abstract paintings, geometric prints, everyday photography (landscapes/textures), fictional graphic design (gig flyers/posters), and kids' drawings
-
We do not believe in locking artists into restrictive contracts. Our model is built to be as artist-friendly as possible:
Non-Exclusive Rights: You retain 100% of your copyright. You are completely free to sell, exhibit, or license your work elsewhere.
50/50 Revenue Split: If an Art Department selects your piece for a production, we split the net licensing fee with you 50/50.
Digital Files: To keep logistics simple, we only supply digital files. The production company pays to print the file themselves to fit the exact dimensions of their set.
-
Because broadcast clearance laws are incredibly strict, every submission must meet the following criteria. There are no exceptions.
100% Original: You must be the sole creator and copyright owner of the work.
No Conflicting Licenses: The work cannot currently be tied into an exclusive licensing agreement with another agency or gallery.
No Third-Party IP: The work cannot contain any recognisable logos, brands, trademarked fonts, or famous faces.
No AI Generation: The artwork cannot be generated using AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E). The legal copyright status of AI is currently too high-risk for HETV broadcasters.

We use a simple two-stage process:
The Preview: Fill out our short expression of interest form. You only need to provide a title, the medium, and a low-res image for our team to review.
The Paperwork: If the piece fits what Art Departments are currently looking for, we will be in touch via email and eventually ask you to sign a the non-exclusive clearance agreement and send us your high resolution files.
